SL520 Expert Solar PV Test Kit
The NEW SL520 Expert Solar PV Test Kit is designed to streamline the installation and maintenance of Solar PV Systems. This powerful toolset enables the measurement of Irradiance, temperature, current, and a wide DC Voltage range, including a Voltage Open Circuit (VOC) measurement up to 1000V DC.
The New SL104
At the heart of the SL520 is the NEW SL104 Solar Irradiance Survey Tool. This innovative device measures both solar irradiance and temperature. Users can conveniently measure the PV panel surface temperature with the built-in internal probe or the underside cell temperature with the attached external surface probe as outlined in IEC 62446-1. The SL104 also includes an inbuilt compass inclinometer, allowing for on-site surveys to measure roof pitch angle and proposed array direction with the directional magnetometer.
The DL6508 1000V DC Power Clamp
The SL520 is further enhanced by the inclusion of the DL6508 TRMS 1500A AC/DC Clamp Meter with Power Measurement. This meter offers Voltage Measurement up to 1000V DC, making it ideal for high VOC measurements on large domestic and medium commercial PV systems. Packed with advanced features such as 40,000 count display, Inrush Current, Power Measurement (kVA/kW), Power Factor and a digital bargraph, the DL6508 is equipped to handle the most demanding applications.
SL104 Key Features:
- Solar Irradiance Measurement to 1400W/m2: Indicating in real time how much solar power is available to convert into electricity.
- Inbuilt Cell Temperature Sensor: The inbuilt surface probe located on the base of the SL104 offers a quick indication of the surface cell
temperature. - External Cell Temperature Probe: The attachable external probe connects directly to the SL104 and offers a quick indication of the underside cell temperature of the panel.
- Inbuilt Magnetometer Compass: The inbuilt compass enables you to determine the roof direction to gain an accurate array direction.
- Roof Pitch Inclinometer: The integrated inclinometer will assist in determining an accurate pitch of the roof angle the array is intended to be mounted on helping calculate the efficiency of the array.
